Master Sergeant Nathan J. Eby joined the West Point Band in 2007. Before joining the band, he was the drum section leader for the Concord Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps, winning two DCI World Championships and two high percussion awards. He was also presented with the Blue Devils most valuable percussionist award. He performed with the Tony Award-winning Broadway production “Blast!” in their shows “Blast! II Shockwave,” premiering at Epcot’s America Theatre and continuing a national tour; and “Cyberjam,” which premiered at London’s Queens Theatre. His performances with the Frank Boehm Creative Force gave him the opportunity to perform at corporate events for companies around the world. During his time in Los Angeles, Master Sgt. Eby was a teaching artist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s education outreach program.
